Insurance & Billing
We're Here to Help
Navigating insurance and healthcare billing can be confusing. Our goal is to make the process as straightforward as possible so you can focus on what matters most—your child's health.
If you ever have questions about insurance coverage, billing, or your account, our team is happy to help.
Insurance Plans
Cradle Thru College Care participates with many major insurance plans.
Because insurance networks can change, we encourage families to contact their insurance company directly to confirm that Cradle Thru College Care and your chosen provider are in-network under your specific plan.
Please note that we do not accept Medicaid plans at this time. However, we do offer self-pay options for families without accepted insurance coverage. If you have questions about insurance participation, self-pay rates, or payment options, please contact our office—we're happy to help.
Before Your Visit
To help ensure accurate billing, please bring:
- Your current insurance card
- A photo ID for the parent or guardian
- Any updated demographic or contact information
- Custody or guardianship documentation, if applicable
Please notify our office as soon as possible if your insurance coverage changes.
Copays, Deductibles, and Coinsurance
Most insurance plans require families to pay a portion of healthcare costs through copays, deductibles, or coinsurance.
These amounts are determined by your insurance company and are due at the time of service.
As a courtesy, we submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf. However, families remain responsible for any balance not covered by insurance.
Well Visits and Additional Concerns
Many insurance plans cover routine well-child visits as a preventive benefit. However, if significant medical concerns are addressed during a well visit—such as illness, chronic condition management, behavioral concerns, ADHD, anxiety, depression, or other medical issues—your insurance may process part of the visit as a separate office visit, resulting in additional patient responsibility.
Our providers are committed to addressing your child's healthcare needs while also following insurance billing guidelines.
Vaccines and Preventive Care
We strongly believe in preventive care and encourage families to keep children up to date on recommended well visits and immunizations.
Coverage for vaccines and preventive services varies by insurance plan. If you have questions about your specific benefits, we encourage you to contact your insurance carrier directly.
Billing Questions
If you receive a statement and have questions about your account, please contact our office. Our team is happy to review charges, explain insurance processing, and help you understand your statement.
Please note that insurance claims can take several weeks to process, and balances may change as claims are finalized.
Questions About a Bill?
We know medical billing can be frustrating. If something doesn't make sense, please call us. Our team will gladly review your statement and help explain how your insurance processed the claim.
Missed Appointments
We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify our office as soon as possible so we can offer that appointment time to another family.
Repeated missed appointments may be subject to a missed appointment fee.
Our Commitment to Families
At Cradle Thru College Care, we believe healthcare should be personal, transparent, and family-centered. We are committed to helping families understand their insurance benefits, navigate billing questions, and receive the care their children need.
If you have questions before your first visit, including questions about insurance coverage or self-pay options, please don't hesitate to contact our office. We're happy to help.
