Office Policies

Our Partnership With Families

At Cradle Thru College Care, we believe the best pediatric care happens when families and providers work together as partners.

Our office policies are designed to create a respectful, efficient, and positive experience for every child and family we serve.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify our office as soon as possible.

Advance notice allows us to offer that appointment time to another child in need of care.

Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in scheduling restrictions or dismissal from the practice.

Prescription Refills

Please request medication refills before your child runs out of medication whenever possible.

Certain medications require routine follow-up appointments before additional refills can be authorized.

Requests submitted after business hours, on weekends, or holidays will be addressed during normal office hours.

Custody and Divorce Situations

We understand that family situations can be complex.

Unless legal documentation specifically states otherwise, parents or legal guardians may have equal access to medical information and decision-making rights.

Please provide our office with any court documents that affect custody arrangements, medical decision-making authority, or access to records.

Financial responsibility for services remains the responsibility of the parent or guardian who brings the child for care. Any payment agreements between parents must be handled independently and do not alter financial responsibility to the practice.

Returned Payments

Returned checks or failed electronic payments may be subject to additional processing fees.

Future payments may be required by credit card or other guaranteed payment methods.

Outstanding Balances

Families with questions regarding account balances are encouraged to contact our office promptly so we can discuss available options.

Accounts that remain unpaid after multiple statements and attempts to contact the responsible party may ultimately be referred to a collection agency.

Respectful Communication

We are committed to maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment for patients, families, providers, and staff.

Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior toward team members, providers, or other families may result in dismissal from the practice.

Vaccine Philosophy

Cradle Thru College Care strongly supports evidence-based medicine and follows the immunization recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Vaccines are one of the most important tools available to protect children and our community from preventable diseases.

Families interested in learning more about our vaccine philosophy are encouraged to visit our Vaccine Policy page.
