Appointments & Scheduling
We're Here When You Need Us
At Cradle Thru College Care, we know that parenting comes with plenty of questions—and that children rarely get sick at convenient times.
Whether you're scheduling a prenatal consultation, newborn visit, annual well visit, same-day sick appointment, or telehealth visit, our goal is to make accessing care simple and convenient.
Scheduling an Appointment
Appointments can be scheduled by calling our office during regular business hours.
We offer appointments for:
- Prenatal consultations
- Newborn visits
- Well-child visits
- Same-day sick visits
- Follow-up appointments
- ADHD and behavioral health visits
- Medication management visits
- Lactation and feeding support
- Sports physicals
- Telehealth visits when appropriate
If you're unsure what type of appointment your child needs, our team is happy to help.
Prenatal Consultations
Expecting a baby? We'd love to meet you.
Prenatal consultations give expectant parents an opportunity to meet our providers, learn about our practice, and ask questions before their baby arrives.
During your visit, we can discuss topics such as:
- Newborn care and feeding
- Hospital and newborn follow-up plans
- Office policies and scheduling
- After-hours support
- What to expect during your baby's first year
These visits are a great way to get to know our team and determine whether Cradle Thru College Care is the right fit for your growing family.
Newborn Appointments
Most newborns are seen within 1–3 days after hospital discharge.
We encourage families to contact our office as soon as possible after delivery so we can coordinate their baby's first appointment.
At Cradle Thru College Care, we intentionally schedule longer newborn appointments so parents never feel rushed and have plenty of time to discuss feeding, sleep, growth, jaundice concerns, and all of the questions that come with bringing home a new baby.
Same-Day Sick Visits
We reserve appointment availability each day for children who become ill unexpectedly.
If your child wakes up sick, please call as early as possible so we can help determine the best next steps.
Our goal is to care for as many of our own patients as possible and help families avoid unnecessary urgent care visits whenever appropriate.
Well-Child Visits
Regular well-child visits allow us to monitor growth and development, provide preventive care, answer questions, and build lasting relationships with your family.
We recommend scheduling annual well visits well in advance, especially during the busy summer months.
Telehealth Visits
Certain concerns can be safely addressed through a telehealth visit from the comfort of your home.
Telehealth may be appropriate for:
- ADHD follow-up visits
- Medication management
- Behavioral and mental health concerns
- Select follow-up appointments
- Certain acute illnesses
Not all concerns can be evaluated virtually, and our team will help determine the best type of appointment for your child.
Arriving for Your Appointment
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled depending on the provider's schedule and appointment type.
This helps ensure that every family receives the time and attention they deserve.
Patient Portal Communication
Our patient portal is a convenient way to:
- ADHD follow-up visits
- Medication management
- Behavioral and mental health concerns
- Select follow-up appointments
- Certain acute illnesses
Please note that portal messages are reviewed during regular business hours and should not be used for urgent medical concerns.
After-Hours Care
When our office is closed, families have access to after-hours nurse triage and an on-call provider for urgent concerns that cannot wait until the next business day.
For life-threatening emergencies, please call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
