TeleMed Visits

Who says house calls (or calls anywhere) are a thing of the past!

We at Cradle Thru College Care are delighted to be able to provide telemed services for our patients anywhere you have a smart phone, tablet, or computer. With so much going on, parents simply don’t have the time (or energy) to make it to the practice, or a student is away at college. We understand this. So if you are at home, the office, in your car, or between classes, we can help you.

We only desire to provide high-quality, appropriate-for-telemed services in such a way that fits into your busy schedule.

Types of Appointments:

While we cannot provide all types of services, our telemed visits are available for select appointment types. Please note that we cannot perform well checks via telemed.

Sick Visits

• Available for most illnesses,
• EXCEPT ear infections and breathing issues

Testing

• If any testing needs to be completed, you will be asked to drive to a designated area and the nurse will perform the test

Medication Checks

• ADHD virtual checks may be performed every three months between in-person exams
• In-person exams are required to be completed every 6 months.

Insurance:

Please check your insurance coverage concerning telemed visit. There are a wide variety of insurance policies, and we cannot monitor all of them. You may be asked to make a co-payment at the time you set the appointment.

Vitals:

Please have a current weight and temperature ready for the practitioner prior to check-in.

Before the visit:

When you call for a telehealth visit, the front desk will verify the phone number and email address of the person who will be in the appointment. You will receive a couple of texts with links.

Follow these steps:

• The first text contains a link to the general check-in material, the same that you would receive when you have an in-person visit. Complete this material so that we can check you in.
• A few minutes before the visit starts, the second text will have a link that asks you to verify the child’s name and date of birth. It will also verify that all forms have been completed. The link will automatically time you out.
• Click on the link of the second text again. You will be put into a virtual room with the practitioner.
