1. Leave it to the pros 👷‍♂️🎆 
Watch a public fireworks show instead of lighting them at home. They're safer and usually more awesome anyway! 

2. Stay back - way back! 🚫🔥 
Keep kids at a safe distance from where fireworks are being lit, even sparklers. 

3. Skip the sparklers for little kids ⚠️ 
Sparklers can burn at over 1,000°F! Try glow sticks instead - they're fun and safe! 🌟 

4. Watch out for leftovers 🚫🧨 
Don't let kids touch used fireworks or firework trash - it can still be hot or explode. 

👂 How to Protect Little Ears 

Loud sounds can damage hearing - and once it's damaged, it doesn't come back. But don't worry, it's easy to protect your child's ears! 

1. Use hearing protection 🎧 
Give kids noise-canceling headphones or earplugs for loud events. Even babies can wear special earmuffs! 

2. Keep your distance 📏 
The farther away you are from the fireworks, the less noise reaches your ears. 

3. Watch from the car 🚗 
Watching fireworks from inside your car is a great way to enjoy the lights without all the loud sounds. 

4. Know the signs of hearing trouble 🤔 
If your child complains about ringing in their ears, trouble hearing, or covers their ears often after loud sounds, check in with your pediatrician.
