When Should Your Child Stay Home?
Keep your child home if they:
Have a fever over 100.4°F (must be fever-free for 24 hours without meds before returning)
Are vomiting or have diarrhea
Have significant cough or difficulty breathing
Are too tired or sick to participate in school activities
Have contagious infections like strep throat or pink eye until treated
How to Care for Sick Kids
Keep them rested and hydrated ๐ง
Use fever reducers or pain relievers as advised by your pediatrician ๐
Practice good hand hygiene to stop spreading germs ๐คฒ
Clean and disinfect toys, surfaces, and bedding frequently ๐งผ
When to Call Your Pediatrician
If your child has:
A fever lasting more than 3 days
Trouble breathing or chest pain
Severe vomiting or diarrhea causing dehydration
Symptoms that worsen or don't improve with home care
