If you are dealing with acne, the most important thing to remember is that consistency is key and that it will take a minimum of 2-3 months before you will notice a difference.
1) Start with a 4 % benzoyl peroxide face/body wash once a day and work your way up to twice a day. Once your body is used to this, can start increasing the percentage to 5% or 10%.
2) 0.1% Adapalene gel is a great retinoid to start off with for mild acne. It is a retinol product though, which means it can cause photosensitivity, ie your skin can burn in the sun if the product is left on your skin when you go outside. SUPER important to only use this at night and wash it off thoroughly before going outside. You can start off a few nights a week or every other night and then work your way up to nightly use.
Talk to your provider if you have any other questions about your acne!
